GOOGLE PAY
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Google Pay Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Google Pay in connection with your REWALT Card issued under the REWALT card programme operated by MAIV Limited ("MAIV", "we", "us", "our").
By adding or using your REWALT Card with Google Pay, you agree to these Terms in addition to the applicable REWALT Cardholder Agreement, Privacy Policy, and any other terms governing your card account.
1. Definitions
Google Pay means the mobile payment and digital wallet service provided by Google.
Device means any compatible mobile phone, tablet, smartwatch, or other device capable of using Google Pay.
REWALT Card means any eligible virtual or physical card issued under the REWALT card programme.
Cardholder means the individual authorized to use the REWALT Card.
2. Eligibility
To use Google Pay, you must:
- Hold an active and eligible REWALT Card;
- Maintain your card account in good standing;
- Use a compatible Device and operating system;
- Comply with Google's terms and conditions applicable to Google Pay;
- Satisfy any verification requirements imposed by MAIV or its service providers.
3. Adding Your Card to Google Pay
You may add an eligible REWALT Card to Google Pay by following the instructions provided within the Google Pay application.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate enrollment of a card in Google Pay at any time for security, compliance, fraud prevention, regulatory, or operational reasons.
4. Using Google Pay
All transactions performed using Google Pay shall be treated as if they were performed using the physical or virtual card itself.
Transaction limits, restrictions, fees, and other conditions applicable to the REWALT Card shall continue to apply.
5. Security Obligations
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Device and authentication credentials.
You must notify MAIV immediately if your Device is lost, stolen, compromised, or if you suspect unauthorized activity.
6. Lost or Stolen Devices
You should use available Google security tools to lock or erase the Device and notify MAIV immediately.
7. Availability of Service
Google Pay is provided by Google and is subject to its own terms, policies, and availability.
MAIV is not responsible for interruptions, outages, or failures caused by Google or third-party service providers.
8. Privacy and Data Sharing
MAIV may exchange information with Google, card networks, processors, and service providers to facilitate enrollment, authentication, fraud prevention, transaction processing, and regulatory compliance.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the REWALT Privacy Policy.
9. Fees
MAIV does not currently charge additional fees specifically for adding a REWALT Card to Google Pay.
Standard card fees and transaction fees may continue to apply.
10. Suspension and Termination
MAIV may suspend, restrict, or terminate Google Pay functionality where required by law, regulation, fraud prevention measures, or security concerns.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MAIV shall not be liable for losses arising from the availability, performance, or functionality of Google Pay or third-party systems.
12. Amendments
MAIV may amend these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on its website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Seychelles.
